Due to the intimate size of Hacienda Barrigona property, cancellations affect us significantly; therefore we are forced to adhere to a strict cancellation policy. No credit or refund will be given in whole or in part for days not used resulting from late arrival or early departure. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance. A list of providers can be found at www.insureyonder.com. Hacienda Barrigona provides this link as a courtesy to its clients for the sole purpose of providing information to facilitate their planning. We are in no way affiliated to www.insureyonder.com or the providers listed within, and are not responsible in any way for their services.

Rates:

Rates are subject to change without notice. A tax of 13% will be added to all nightly and package rates.

Deposit / Cancellation Policy Hacienda Barrigona:

We understand plans can change, and we’ve tried to be as fair as possible when applying fees and charges.
The 1st night’s deposit is charged at the time of booking and is refundable if cancellation is made before the full and final payment deadline.
A $20 administrative fee applies to all refunds.

Full and final non-refundable payment is due:
45 days before arrival for Green Season (May 1 – Dec. 19)
45 days before arrival for High Season (Jan. 6 – Apr. 30)
60 days before arrival for Peak Season (Dec. 20 – Jan. 5)

All non-refundable promotions are non-cancelable, non-changeable, and must be paid in full at the time of booking. There are no refunds for cancellations, date changes, or early departures on these promotions.
Upon receipt of your payment, an “e-Confirmation of Reservation” will be sent, and you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

Go or No-Show Charges:

No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures in accordance with the cancellation policies.

Privacy Statement:

Hacienda Barrigona will maintain any and all information regarding our guests as private within our facility.

Payments:

All payments are accepted in US DOLLARS or the equivalent in Costa Rican colons at the time of payment.

Accepted payment methods:
Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club
Direct Deposit / Wire Transfer: Must be pre-arranged with our Reservations Department.

Important: Wire transfers may incur fees from both your bank and intermediary banks. Please confirm all charges to ensure full payment is received. Proof of wire must be emailed to info@haciendabarrigona.com

For credit card payments, a signed authorization form is required. This can be requested from our reservations office and sent as a password-protected document via email.

Arrival & Departures:

Check-in: From 3:00 PM onwards
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
A credit card is required at check-in for incidentals.

Smoking:

Hacienda Barrigona is a smoke-free property. Please ask for location of designated smoking areas.

Children:

Families and children are welcome at Hacienda Barrigona.

Pets:

No pets are permitted on the property, including service animals.

Responsibility / Loss or Damage to Property:

Hacienda Barrigona is not responsible for:
Loss or damage to personal property or equipment.
Delays or additional expenses caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to travel delays, civil disturbances, natural disasters, government acts, or equipment failures.
